Tout ça en 200 pages format proche du A4, écrit dense vsur deux colonnes, avec des planches et des cartes, en noir et blanc. Le paradis du wargameur !

J'ai lu rapidement les trois pages sur Ungern. Malheureusement l'article véhicule le
folklore semi fantastique habituel sur le baron (depuis Hopkirk, les
auteurs anglophones se recopient les uns les autres). Comme ailleurs, le
phénomène est décrit isolément sans prendre la peine de l'inscrire dans
la situation régionale de l'époque, avec les ambitions du Japon, le mouvement pan Mongol, la
situation particulière de la république d'Extrême-Orient et la
situation générale de Moscou à ce moment là, la prise de pouvoir attendue
de Semenov à Vladivostok, et les sommets d'horreur et de dépravation
qu'avaient atteints les autres lieutenants de Semenov. Ne reste que
l'aventurier fou et sadique. C'est un peu léger.
Mauvaise impression, mais qui va s'estomper avec le reste, où je ne connais rien.
